Symptom narrative

Developed symptoms consistent with Guillain Barre Syndrome -- Skin all over my body feels like it is vibrating, severe weakness in legs, Both symptoms become severe while I sleep, and are alleviated by vigorous exercise upon waking. Additionally, I have muscle twitching all over my body, not related to sleep. Now, 6 weeks after onset, I am 75% recovered and continue to improve.

Current illness

12/21/25: Impact to head, no LoC, 12/22/25: Brief hallucination and LoC. ER evaluation showed no signs of stroke or seizure.

30 years of chronic lower back pain

Plant Sterols & Stanols, D3, DHA, multivitamin, daily 91mg aspirin

1/7/26: Head and cervical MRIs; 1/11/26: lumbar MRI; 1/22/25: EMG/NCS; 1/27/26: thoracic MRI; labs 12/22/25, 1/9/26, 1/11/26; GBS ruled out by EMG/NCS.
