Patient was a healthy 22-year-old man working and going to college. We lost our son in April 2024. He was 22. Patient was so kind, caring, and funny. Patient took his life. My husband and I have been married 30 years. Patient has 2 brothers. Really 4 brothers, we had 2 nephews that lived with us quite a bit. We still don?t have many answers on to why our son is not with us anymore. Patient joined the agency in May 2020. He left for training in January 2021-June 2021. The one thing we do know is that patient had 2 young men he went to training with that took their lives (assuming they were given the save Covid vaccine), and his boss at his unit took his life. Patient was a semester away from a bachelor?s degree in criminal justice, and May 25th, 2024, would have marked his 4th year in being in employed. He was going to be promoted. Patient's dad and I always said he was the kid we did not have to worry about. It was nothing for him to take a car trip to state, or city, or go camping in the mountains, during the winter. Patient earned a spot with another co-worker and participated in the Competition. Patient was the youngest in the competition. The other co-worker with him could not swim very well, and patient had to go in after him. Although he did not win, he completed the whole thing, and I believe it was a manager, that because of his age, and how well he competed, said that patient was great and gave him a special coin/medal. ? Below is just a glimpse of his life before this tragedy?.. Patient always had a strong faith in God. When he was in kindergarten, he was the kid of the week, and was asked who do you admire most, and he said Mom, that would be God of course. A fellow classmate in Junior high lost her home in a tornado, and without us knowing he took all his money and gave it to her. He was involved in band, football, and wrestling all 4 years of high school. He was so much fun to watch wrestle and play football. He wasn?t very big, but he sure could run the ball well when given the chance. He made it to state his senior year at Class. nicknames given to him by his fellow football and wrestling teammates. During his senior year he made the decision to Join the agency. He was a Scout. Patient lived over in another city but was at our house numerous times. He spent most of his time with us over holiday Break. Patient's dad and I had gone over a few times, taking him food on our way back from City, and he had a leak from the upstairs apartment, and we spent the afternoon/evening helping him clean up the mess. Patient's dad and brother helped another afternoon putting together his new punching bag, and helping set up his new couch. He loved watching professional fights. When he did stay with us, he would always give me a big hug and would tell me he loved me before he went to bed. The boys took a snowboarding trip in February. This has been a tradition. They took this trip before patient left for training, January 2021, and has continued every year now. It was his brothers, a family friend, and patients Dad. Patient headed back out to the location the end of February, for his Best Friend?s Bachelor Party. They hiked. Patient sent me a video showing me they made it farther this time. He was going to be the Best Man in his wedding. Patient was with us holiday weekend. He went to Church with me and spent time with all the family at my mom?s for holiday Dinner. Patient's dad and I went out of town in early April, and he came and stayed with brother for a night. There were no alcohol or drugs in his system. After the fact we found out his grades started dropping dramatically in late March. From getting A?s and B?s to only passing one class. Patient had stopped working out and started to put on weight. I was having to remind him to complete things. He would have a goal and talk to me about it but started not completing that goal. We are at a loss. I started listening to all the horror stories the Covid vaccine is causing and thinking that is the one thing that has changed in the agency. I started finding article after article on the vaccine and suicide. One of them that I found stated that the early 2021 shots were the most dangerous. There is an alarming rise in Suicides in the agency. I did write a similar letter to 9 state representatives but only heard back from one of the assistants. She had lost her daughter to the same tragedy in August 2024. I also sent in a packet of information to the president.
