On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: Shingles). The reporter mentioned that her husband (patient) had it (shingles) in the same location. He received an Antiviral, but he was in so much pain. They were trying to find something to put on the rash to relieve the pain. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary vaccination schedule, time to onset and laboratory test confirming shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
