Patient was due to be given Tdap, patient was in inadvertently given Dtap (Infanrix) by the nurse. No physical adverse reaction noted beyond being given the wrong formulary. Manufacturer was called to speak through safety concerns for patient, no safety concerns noted by manufacturer. Advised per CDC that this dose would satisfy the Tdap immunization record for school and Immunization system. Parent of patient notified by provider.
