Reporting this at 1537 same day of symptom onset: Symptoms: Redness to immediate area, as well as redness/flushing to whole body but particularly face, R posterior upper arm (where Yellow Fever vaccine was given), bilat lower legs, and generalized pruritus, but worse to head/scalp, right arm, bilat lower legs. Treatment: topical hydrocortisone, ice to immunization area, benadryl 25mg po now and repeat x1 in 6 hrs, loratadine 10mg po now and repeat daily if necessary. D/t time frame, patient reported relief from ice pack prior to discharge. D/t location of reaction and probability of allergic reaction risk, Yellow Fever is being assumed as allergic agent.
