A side effect of this vaccine is that is causes Shingles. My dad got shingles a week after the vaccine; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of shingles in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, 1 week after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: A side effect of this vaccine is that is causes Shingles. My dad got shingles a week after the vaccine). The outcome of the shingles was not reported. The reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine.
