Symptom narrative

Donor had a reaction 15 minutes after vaccine given. It was given at 1335, reaction was at 1350. Symptoms included: itchy throat, difficulty breathing, wheezing, warm and sweating, angioedema, itchy tongue, ears and feet, eyes watering, nausea and emesis. Our Center Physician was contacted at 1400 and she said to give Epi and call 911. 2 injections of Epi (0.3 mL each) given. 1st Epi given at 1405; 2nd at 1410. 911 contacted and donor was transported to the hospital.
