I lost feeling in my legs, toes and fingers; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of numbness in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, 1 day after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced numbness (Verbatim: I lost feeling in my legs, toes and fingers). The outcome of the numbness was resolving. The reporter considered the numbness to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the numbness to be related to Shingles vaccine. The patient lost feeling in the legs, toes and fingers when patient woke up the next day from that shot, it took a year to get back to somewhat normal. It was reported as, needless to say the patient did not go back and get the recommended second dose. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
