A patient (age and gender not provided) received pneumococcal 20-val conj vac (dipht CRM197 protein) (PREVNAR 20), on 12Feb2026 as dose number unknown, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) intramuscular, in left deltoid for immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: VACCINATION SITE WARMTH (non-serious) with onset Feb2026, outcome "unknown", described as "area was quite warm,"; VACCINATION SITE SWELLING (non-serious) with onset Feb2026, outcome "unknown", described as "area was quite warm, red, and swollen"; VACCINATION SITE INDURATION (non-serious) with onset Feb2026, outcome "unknown", described as "area was quite warm, red, and swollen with a hardened area (about 2 inches in legnth) below the skin"; VACCINATION SITE PAIN (non-serious) with onset Feb2026, outcome "unknown", described as "general soreness". Additional information: The patient reported receiving the Prevnar 20 vaccine injection in the left deltoid muscle on 12 February 2026. The patient initially experienced the general soreness typically expected after vaccination. However, the night before reporting the event, the patient noticed that the area had become warm, red, and swollen, with a hardened area approximately 2 inches in length beneath the skin. The injection had been administered by a nurse at the patients doctors office.
