herpes blisters on roof of mouth, nose, middle of lip; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of herpes virus infection in a 72-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included cold sores (Patient have had occasional cold sores). Concomitant products included atorvastatin calcium (Lipitor). On 10-FEB-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix. In FEB-2026, 4 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced herpes virus infection (Verbatim: herpes blisters on roof of mouth, nose, middle of lip). The outcome of the herpes virus infection was unknown. It was unknown if the reporter considered the herpes virus infection to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the herpes virus infection to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 17-FEB-2026 The patient had experienced occasional cold sores for as long as they could remember but not in multiple and odd places like this. The symptoms started 4 to 5 days after the second shingles vaccination, which included herpes blisters on the roof of the mouth, inside the nose, and in the middle of the lip.
