Atrial fibrillation; PVCs; This is a spontaneous report received from a consumer. A 72-year-old male patient received RSV Vaccine Prot.Subunit Pref 2v (ABRYSVO), on 18Dec2025 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 72 years, in arm for immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Cardiac (heart)", start date: 2015 (ongoing); "Ablation procedure", start date: 2017, stop date: 2017; "AFib" (unspecified if ongoing); "Abdominal aortic aneurysm" (unspecified if ongoing); "Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair" (not ongoing); "Clotting issues" (unspecified if ongoing); "Cholesterol" (unspecified if ongoing); "Hard hearing" (unspecified if ongoing); "Pre-COPD" (unspecified if ongoing). Concomitant medication(s) included: METOPROLOL SUCCINATE taken for cardiac disorder; LOSARTAN taken for cardiac disorder; ASPIRIN 81 taken for aortic aneurysm repair, anticoagulant therapy, coagulopathy; APIXABAN taken for aortic aneurysm repair, coagulopathy; ROSUVASTATIN taken for blood cholesterol abnormal. Past drug history included: Lisinopril for Heart, reaction(s): "Syncope"; Atorvastatin for Cholesterol. He has general cardiac issues that have been going on for a while, and he takes medications for that. He has been more or less stable. The patient takes metoprolol succinate and losartan. When asked for the indication, the patient stated one is an ACE inhibitor, the other is a beta blocker, for his heart, and he's trying to remember which one it is. The patient started metoprolol probably 10 years ago, plus or minus. The patient previously was taking Lisinopril, but he was having adverse reactions to it after a while, so he was switched over to Losartan 6 years ago plus or minus. The patient takes Aspirin. He has been on it for quite a while. He takes it because he had an abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, back awhile. It's a little bit blood thinner, he was having some stuff, clotting issues still so that was added on and now he's also taking apixaban. The patient takes Apixaban for previous aneurysm repair. He has been on Apixaban for 4 years for anti-clotting to avoid coagulation in the stent repair on the triple A. The patient takes Rosuvastatin. It replaced Atorvastatin, in a 6-to-7-year time frame that replacement occurred. Atorvastatin was replaced because of grapefruit products, he stopped Atorvastatin and removed the conflict with grapefruit products. And actually, rosuvastatin works better. The following information was reported: VENTRICULAR EXTRASYSTOLES (non-serious) with onset 19Dec2025, outcome "unknown", described as "PVCs"; ATRIAL FIBRILLATION (medically significant) with onset 24Dec2025, outcome "recovered" (02Feb2026). The events "atrial fibrillation" and "pvcs" required physician office visit. The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: Cardiac monitoring: (unspecified date) Unknown results; Electrocardiogram: (unspecified date) Normal rhythms; (unspecified date) 70 bpm; (unspecified date) PVCs under sinus; (19Dec2025) PVCs normal sinus; (20Dec2025) PVCs; (23Dec2025) PVCs normal; (24Dec2025) AFib. For the RSV Abrysvo vaccine, the patient has been a cardiac patient for quite a while. Since 2015, he's been a cardiac patient and had an ablation procedure back in 2017, which knocked him out of an AFib situation and put him back in sinus rhythm and he has been stable since. He was in AFib pretty significantly up until then 2017, when he had the ablation procedure, and from that point on he has been in sinus rhythm ever since. After the patient received the Abrysvo shot for RSV primarily because he's old and preventative (got a little bit of pre-COPD), on 18Dec2025, 6 days afterwards he started experiencing AFib, for the first time in 8 years. It was intermittent throughout from when it started till 02Feb2026. The last one was on 02Feb2026, the last one he has recorded and had noted. He has a caveat there. For test results, the patient happened to have an AliveCor, cardiac monitor, and 6-lead personal EKG. The patient can get an EKG off of it with these devices and it's recorded on a tablet or smart phone what the results are. He has a lot of records he needs to swing through, this is December 30th, 23rd, 24th, 22nd. He's had a lot that report of normal rhythms, 70 bpm, normal, some PVCs under sinus, PVCs normal sinus again on the 19th, on the 20th getting some PVCs. This is when the patient was searching through records. On the 23rd, PVCs normal. The first AFib was on 24Dec2025, about 6 days after the administration of Abrysvo, and continued. At the moment, it seems to have recovered. He does not know, what this did, after he highlighted the cardiovascular stuff he was getting, the cardiologist ordered a heart monitor chest thing, he forgot what that's called, device. He took that and had it on for a couple of weeks starting in the later part of Jan2026. He sent it back 4, 5, 6 days ago and he will get the results sometime within the next couple of weeks to do an analysis, so there could be more information, but at the moment, this is just to give a heads up. There haven't been a lot of reports of AFib with this medication, but looks like it's possible this triggered AFib, which apparently is fairly easy to do. He will send a message to his cardiologist and to his primary care doctor to inform them that Pfizer was notified of the possibility that could be a reaction. Batch/lot number is not provided, and it cannot be obtained.
