Symptom narrative

developed painful rash with scabs on my back after vaccine. I went to my PCP for my annual visit and was prescribed steroids that I didn't take since I will be having surgery soon. Then I started having severe back pain under my right ribcage. It was deep muscle pain, and I also had a severe rash on my back that went around to the breast. Went to the ER on 2/22/26. Was diagnosed with shingles so they prescribed me Valtrex. Feel some better but still have muscle pain and rash. I will see my dermatologist for my annual checkup this week and will discuss with them.
