Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine. In JUL-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. In JAN-2026, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: Had Shingles for 5 weeks last January (horrible)). On an unknown date, the patient experienced influenza-like symptoms (Verbatim: rough couple of days like the flu). The outcome of the vaccination failure and influenza-like symptoms were not reported and the outcome of the shingles was resolved (duration 5 weeks). The patient had his/her first vaccine in July and then he/she got second shot on Monday. The patient stated that it was a rough couple of days like the flu. However, it was nothing like having shingles, get the vaccine. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
