Symptom narrative

shingles rash on her back and under her breast; that the injection site hurt immediately; two hours later her entire arm hurt; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of injection site pain in a 78-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On 18-DEC-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix (right arm). On 18-DEC-2025, immediately after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced injection site pain (Verbatim: that the injection site hurt immediately) and pain in arm (Verbatim: two hours later her entire arm hurt). On an unknown date, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: shingles rash on her back and under her breast). The patient was treated with prednisone and steroids. The outcome of the injection site pain was not reported and the outcome of the pain in arm was not resolved and the outcome of the shingles was resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the injection site pain, pain in arm and shingles to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the injection site pain, pain in arm and shingles to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 17-FEB-2026 that patient went to the physician and received a steroid injection in her hip and the injection relieved the pain for one day and then the pain came back. The patient then went back for a second steroid injection in her hip and started on oral prednisone. When patient finished the course of oral prednisone, patient developed the shingles rash on her back and under her breast. When patient had the singles rash, patient took her fever blister medication and the rash resolved. The patient other conditions and other products were not provided. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
