Symptom narrative

On 02/27/2026, family called to report that pt's right thigh was very swollen compared to left thigh. At the time of the call he was walking, playing, and acting fine. Due to description of size of thigh, an appointment was made in the clinic on 02/27/2026 to evaluate thigh. At time of appointment, pt was limping and avoiding putting weight on the right leg. Right thigh measured 31.5cm and left thigh was 21.5cm. Injection sites were not red or warm. Redness was noted on right inner thigh, but it was not warm to the touch. With concerns for potential infection due to swelling and redness, labs were drawn. CBC, CRP, and Sed rate were drawn and no signs of infection noted. Pt will follow up in clinic on 3/1/2026 to evaluate swelling and condition of site.
