Incomplete course of vaccination

Symptom narrative

Late second dose; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of incomplete course of vaccination in a 69-year-old female patient who did not receive Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix (first dose was received on 17-FEB-2023 with batch number 73PP9 and expiry date 31-MAY-2024). The patient did not receive the 2nd dose of Shingrix. The patient experienced incomplete course of vaccination (Verbatim: Late second dose). The outcome of the incomplete course of vaccination was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 23-FEB-2026 The registered pharmacist called to get advice on a late second dose schedule for Shingrix. The patient had received a first dose back in twenty twenty-three. Pharmacist enquired do they have to restart the series. The batch number was not provided upon follow- up with the reporter.
