Symptom narrative

absent response to pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine; Information marketed has been received from the authors in a published literature article titled as stated below, concerning an 81-year-old male with a remote history of a 3 cm thymoma and chronic respiratory failure, previously diagnosed with cryptogenic organizing pneumonia following COVID-19. Six months prior to admission, labs showed low IgA, absent response to pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (considered as Pneumococcal Vaccine, Polyvalent (23-valent) for prophylaxis) (vaccination failure), but normal IgG and IgM levels. Literature Report: A copy of the published article is attached as further documentation of the patient's experience. Lot# is being requested and will be submitted if received.
