Suspected vaccination failure; Shingles/ Husband had shingles now, had the 2 dose; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Herpes Zoster vaccine) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Herpes Zoster vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Herpes Zoster vaccine and the 1st dose of Herpes Zoster vaccine. In FEB-2026, more than 2 years after receiving Herpes Zoster vaccine and Herpes Zoster vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: Shingles/ Husband had shingles now, had the 2 dose). The outcome of the vaccination failure was not reported and the outcome of the shingles was resolving. It was unknown if the reporter considered the vaccination failure and shingles to be related to Herpes Zoster vaccine and Herpes Zoster vaccine. The company considered the vaccination failure to be unrelated to Herpes Zoster vaccine and Herpes Zoster vaccine. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles to be related to Herpes Zoster vaccine and Herpes Zoster vaccine. The patient had received the vaccine 3-4 years ago and blisters and a rash began 4 days prior to the reporting of the event, and the rash had crusted by the time of reporting. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
