Suspected vaccination failure; l had the two vaccinations; l was shocked to find out l had shingles; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Herpes Zoster vaccine) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Herpes Zoster vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Herpes Zoster vaccine and the 2nd dose of Herpes Zoster vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Herpes Zoster vaccine and Herpes Zoster vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: l had the two vaccinations; l was shocked to find out l had shingles). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the vaccination failure and shingles to be related to Herpes Zoster vaccine and Herpes Zoster vaccine. The patient stated that he/she had highly recommended that anyone experiencing a sudden sore rash and pain should immediately seek medical assistance. Because the patient had previously had the vaccination, he/she had been surprised to develop shingles. Since the patient had immediately gone to an insta-care facility, he/she had been able to receive anti-virus medication. Between both of these choices, the patient believed that he/she had a very mild case. The patient thanked goodness, because shingles was very painful. The batch number was not provided, and unable to contact the reporter. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding time to onset and laboratory test confirming shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.; Sender's Comments: A case of Vaccination failure, unknown time after receiving 1st dose of Herpes Zoster vaccine and the 2nd dose of Herpes Zoster vaccine, in a patient.
