My brother-in-law got Guillain Barre syndrome from the vaccine which is way worse than shingles; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of guillain barre syndrome in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced guillain barre syndrome (Verbatim: My brother-in-law got Guillain Barre syndrome from the vaccine which is way worse than shingles) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). The outcome of the guillain barre syndrome was not reported. The reporter considered the guillain barre syndrome to be related to Shingles vaccine.
