Symptom narrative

Patient was extremely lethargic all morning. While on the phone with pediatrician, patient became limp and unresponsive. 911 was called. Patient was unresponsive for 4 minutes. When EMS arrived, blood sugar was 254. Patient was taken to hospital. When arrived at hospital, blood sugar dropped to 49. Patient continued to have extremely labile blood sugars, was admitted for a night in the hospital, and required D5 1/2NS fluids to stabilize her sugars. All of patient?s labs and tests came back completely normal. She was not sick. Has never experienced anything like this before. The only change was the vaccine she received a few days prior.
