Symptom narrative

Pinkish red / It was red and it was getting swollen and it was very itchy; Pinkish red / It was red and it was getting swollen and it was very itchy; Pinkish red / It was red and it was getting swollen and it was very itchy; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP. A patient (age and gender not provided) received BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) (COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA)), on 25Feb2026 at 11:00 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: VACCINATION SITE ERYTHEMA (non-serious), VACCINATION SITE SWELLING (non-serious), VACCINATION SITE PRURITUS (non-serious) all with onset 25Feb2026, outcome "unknown" and all described as "Pinkish red / It was red and it was getting swollen and it was very itchy". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of vaccination site erythema, vaccination site swelling, vaccination site pruritus. Additional information: The reporter (patient) believed he/she may have had a reaction to Pfizer Comirnaty. The patient stated it is pinkish red, two hours after he/she got it (Comirnaty). Got it 11 in the morning and in the afternoon, the patient noticed that it was red and it was getting swollen and it was very itchy. The patient stated that he/she contacted to the pharmacist and was advised to put warm compress on it for a minute and to put some hydrocortisone on it, but the reporter thought because it is swollen and red, he/she questioned putting warm compress on it. The information on the batch/lot number for BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) will be requested and submitted if and when received.
