Symptom narrative

Parent called Pediatrics nurse triage line approximately 5 hours after patient received Covid and Hepatitis A vaccine booster doses (both second dose in series) stating that parents called EMS to their home about 1.5 hours after the patient received vaccines because patient starting having seizure like activity. Parents reported to triage nurse that about 1.5 hours after receiving vaccines on 3/2, patient body went stiff, patient eyes rolled back, and became very pale for about 10 seconds, then patient regained normal appearance. Patient appeared listless and lethargic for a few minutes after the episode. Patient cheeks were flushed before the episode started and mom was preparing to take a temperature on patient, then seizure like activity happened. Parent unable to take a temperature before episode happened. Parents reported that all vital signs were normal when assessed by EMS once they arrived after the episode. Patient scheduled to see PCP on 3/5/26.
