On 02/28/26 around 5:00pm patient starting with vomiting and diarrhea which prompted his mother and father to call and they spoke with one of our providers who after listening to his symptoms she recommended the patient be taken to urgent care. Once at urgent care they diagnosed him with: vomiting unspecified vomiting type, unspecified whether nausea present, neonatal fever, diarrhea of presumed infectious origin. Urgent care then recommended that the patient be brought to ER as they would likely need admission for observation and or IV fluids. Patient was taken to hospital, admitted to NICU, and was found to have positive test rotavirus and due to blood in stools they did an x ray and x ray showed pneumatosis stating antibiotics for 7 days and will slowly increase his feedings. No further vomiting or diarrhea. Will be in hospital for about 2 more weeks.
Seborrheic infantile dermatitis and Erythematous rash to abdomen 02/14/26. Also, Seborrheic dermatitis of scalp 02/09/26.
