achy; diarrhea; extremely fatigued; it made the patient felt kind of like she had COVID, like it made her feel like she had the flu.; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (it made the patient felt kind of like she had COVID, like it made her feel like she had the flu.), PAIN (achy), DIARRHOEA (diarrhea) and FATIGUE (extremely fatigued) in a 78-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 00Fm20A, 023M20A and 939904F12-22) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included Pregnancy (birth of son) and Anal sphincter insufficiency (had issues with her anal sphincter muscle that might be due to her son's birth.). On 30-Jan-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On 26-Feb-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 28-Oct-2021, received third dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. In 2021, the patient experienced INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (it made the patient felt kind of like she had COVID, like it made her feel like she had the flu.). On an unknown date, the patient experienced PAIN (achy), DIARRHOEA (diarrhea) and FATIGUE (extremely fatigued). At the time of the report, INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (it made the patient felt kind of like she had COVID, like it made her feel like she had the flu.) outcome was unknown and PAIN (achy), DIARRHOEA (diarrhea) and FATIGUE (extremely fatigued) had resolved. The concomitant medication was not reported by the reporter. On 24-Oct-2022, patient had the fourth dose, batch number: 057F22A and on 06-Dec-2023, patient had the fifth dose, batch number not provided. The patient was advised not to participate in the clinical trial as the patient had a serious reaction. It wasn't that serious with the COVID vaccine, even though the patient got all three of the vaccines, the first one, made the patient feel like having COVID-19. But the patient did not remember that with the 2nd and the 3rd doses and since had that little bit of a reaction the nurse advised her not to participate in the clinical trial. She did not experience any other issues when she received the succeeding doses. The patient went back and two years later, the patient continued to get the vaccine. The patient did not get it this year because they hadn't heard too much about COVID. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms/events.
