Symptom narrative

3/6/2026- The Mother brought the Child to the Clinic today for his next vaccines and stated that he got a bruise on his left thigh after his shots last time. She reported that the child saw Dr, and she told the parent that this RN must have "nicked a nerve" when giving the MMR and Varicella in the left thigh. This RN noted today that the child has a palpable erythematous lump that is approximated 7mm in diameter on his left thigh that does not bother the child when palpated, and he walked into the Clinic room without issues or limping. There is no drainage, and the mother states Dr checked the site to be sure it did not have fluid in it. This RN asked if he had a rash around the injection sites, and she stated "No, it was just really red". When asked, the mother stated the child had a temp of 101.1 after the vaccine, but he was also diagnosed with strep throat. This RN asked if Dr knew what vaccines had been given in that leg, and the Mother replied, "Yes".
