I got my 1st one 2 weeks ago and the next day felt like I had the flu; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of influenza like illness in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. In FEB-2026, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. In FEB-2026, 1 day after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced influenza like illness (Verbatim: I got my 1st one 2 weeks ago and the next day felt like I had the flu). The outcome of the influenza like illness was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the influenza like illness to be related to Shingles vaccine.
