Within a min after administrating the vaccine, the patient claimed that he will pass out and then he started shaking for few secs. We made sure the scene is clear from any sharp object that could injure the patient and we started checking the vitals immediately (which revealed clear airways). His pulse was 118-120 bpm and he was pale in appearance in addition to sweaty skin , We put the patient in trendelenburg position with leg elevated while the first aid kit including the epipen is on hand. The patient regained his consciousness within few mins while in that position and we gave them fluid (including juice) orally while the bucket was prepared for any possibility of vomiting. We made sure everything is clear and the patient left after about 30 mins while all the documentation done.
