Symptom narrative

Chills; sweats; aches; nausea; stomach pain; swelling; sore arm; arm couldn't lift; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of chills in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included shingles (The patient had Shingles 5 years ago and was up for days all night, crying in pain) and pain. Previously administered products included Shingles vaccine (The patient had first dose of Shingles vaccine in NOV-2025). On 26-FEB-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine. In FEB-2026, less than a day after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced chills (Verbatim: Chills), sweating (Verbatim: sweats), pain (Verbatim: aches), nausea (Verbatim: nausea), stomach pain (Verbatim: stomach pain), swelling (Verbatim: swelling), pain in arm (Verbatim: sore arm) and mobility decreased (Verbatim: arm couldn't lift). The outcome of the chills, sweating, pain, nausea, stomach pain, swelling, pain in arm and mobility decreased were not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the chills, sweating, pain, nausea, stomach pain, swelling, pain in arm and mobility decreased to be related to Shingles vaccine. The patient had received the first vaccine in NOV-2025 and the second one on 26-FEB-2026. On same night, patient had experienced every symptom like chills, sweats, body aches, nausea, stomach pain, swelling, and a sore arm that she couldn't even lift. It had been terrible, but still nothing compared to the shingles patient had suffered about five years earlier, when patient had stayed awake for days and nights, crying in pain. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
