inadequate vaccine response; Literature Report. This Literature (Spontaneous) report has been received from the authors of a published article, titled as stated above and referred to a 10-month-old Male patient with no signi?cant past medical history. The patient's past medications were not reported. The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. On an unknown date, patient was fully vaccinated with Haemophilus b Conjugate Vaccine (Meningococcal Protein Conjugate) (manufacturer unknown) (dose, route of administration, lot# and expiration date were not reported) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient developed extensive invasive Hib disease. Subsequent immunologic work-up was unremarkable and did not suggest an underlying immunode?ciency that would explain an inadequate vaccine response (Vaccination failure). It was reported that invasive Hib infections can still occur in immunocompetent individuals despite adequate vaccination.
