Symptom narrative

Vaccine given on 3/8/26 at 3:45 pm. Infant spike temperature of 100.6F at 2am, temperature remained at 3:15am. Dose of acetaminophen was given at 4:02am. Infant's temperature was normalized at 5 am. Infant was observed by physician to be having a seizure at 6am. Seizure lasted approximately 2 minutes and infant required additional respiratory support.

Medical history

Infant is a twin. Born preterm at 32 weeks gestation. Vaccine was administered in hospital under close monitoring.

Other medications

omeprazole, infant multi-vitamin with iron

Allergies

Had previous reaction to Hepatitis B vaccine. Event reported separately.

3/9/2026: CBC, electrolytes, aEEG, EEG, blood cultures, lumbar puncture,, 3/10/26: MRI
