Symptom narrative

Headache, fatigue & tinnitus start evening of 3/2/26. Hearing loss starts on 3/3/26. Symptoms of headache worsen. By Thursday notice hearing loss and tinnitus are mainly in left ear. Friday see clinic PA and outer ear is becoming red. The ear canal is inflammed, swollen and red. Saturday 3/7 ear is sore, all symptoms are worse: hearing loss, ear pain, tinnitus, left side neck lymph nodes are protruding and sore., dizziness and vertigo starts. Diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. Taking anti-viral and corticosteroid.

Lab data

Auditory test on 3/5/26 indicates left ear has more hearing loss than right ear. Urgent care clinic medical exam on 3/6/26 and 3/7/26. MRI pending.
