Patient was receiving 3 vaccines that she signed up for online. Flu and Twinrix were administered in the left deltoid. Pt said the twinrix vaccine hurt more than the other. Polio vaccine was administered in the right deltoid. Pt put her shirt back on and said she felt dizzy. Patient was told to stay seated since she felt unwell. She leaned her head back, her eyes rolled back into her head and she slumped down in the chair. Patient was gurgling and very pale. Called 911 and 0.3 mg of Epi was administered in the left upper thigh. She almost immediately opened her eyes and started breathing. She was still limp and pale. Performed a sternal rub and asked if she could hear and breathe. She responded that she could and said she felt really tired and dizzy but wanted to go home and lay down. Pt then said she felt sick to her stomach and was going to vomit. She gagged and spit into the trash can several times but remained alert until EMS arrived and took her to the hospital.
