Per Medical assistant started giving the first quantity of oral (Rotavirus), she placed the liquid on the side cheeks, he seemed that he did not like the taste, but no major breathing or spitting out symptoms. Per Medical Assistant When giving the last quantity of oral rotavirus he immediately started coughing out the oral vaccine and also seemed he was trying to catch his breath as if he swallowed the wrong way. Mom immediately started to pat his back and Dr. in the room started listening to his lungs and asked to check his pulse and Oxygen, they were both normal. Baby initially had some gurgling sounds however it all disappeared in few minutes. Baby left our office in stable condition.

Ordered a chest xray however mom chose to wait and monitor the baby at home, will take him if symptoms return. A video swallow study was ordered as well
