A 34-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), as dose number unknown, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Blood pressure" (unspecified if ongoing); "Hyperhidrosis" (unspecified if ongoing). There were no concomitant medications. The following information was reported: ALLERGY TO VACCINE (non-serious) with onset Jul2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "had an allergic reaction to the Pfizer covid vaccine"; HYPERHIDROSIS (non-serious), CONDITION AGGRAVATED (non-serious) all with onset Jul2021, outcome "not recovered" and all described as "hands were sweating and her feet were sweating/the vaccine amplified that condition and exacerbated the condition"; ORTHOSTATIC HYPOTENSION (non-serious) with onset Jul2021, outcome "not recovered"; HYPOAESTHESIA (non-serious) with onset Jul2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "she couldn't feel it, its on her right shin, it's numb and feels very numb just like her hands"; PARAESTHESIA (non-serious) with onset Jul2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "she experiences a pin and needles sensation to numbness, so she is very familiar with that feeling on her hands.". Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of orthostatic hypotension, allergy to vaccine, hyperhidrosis, condition aggravated, hypoaesthesia, paraesthesia. Additional information: Caller stated she had hyperhidrosis and she had experienced this since 6th grade, so she was familiar with what it was versus what it is now. Caller stated the vaccine amplified that condition and exacerbated the condition. Caller stated she had to change her clothes 3 times a day minimum due to the exacerbation. Caller stated the provider saw how intensely her hands were sweating and her feet were sweating when the provider was examining her work related injury, she reported something different, but the provider couldn't look the other way and when the provider was pressing on her work related injury, she couldn't feel it, it was on her right shin, it was numb and feels very numb just like her hands. Caller stated like her hands they were sweating a lot and it has been a normal thing, but now her hands drip and have puddles. Caller stated it depends on the day, she experiences a pin and needles sensation to numbness, so she was very familiar with that feeling on her hands. The numbness on her hands, she experienced it on her right shin area and thought it was normal, but it was not normal as the provider was pressing on it, the provider stated the numbness in her hands was connected to numbness on her right shin. This was where her work-related injury. caller stated she could get that for Pfizer, but off of the top of her head she stated Jul2021. Caller stated no medical treatment was done for her reaction. Caller stated it wasn't just hyperhidrosis that exacerbated, she was also diagnosed orthostatic hypotension and the doctor said it was related to the covid vaccine. This was the allergic reaction to the Pfizer Vaccine. Caller stated not recovered or unknown, and further provided not recovered. The information on the batch/lot number for BNT162b2 will be requested and submitted if and when received.
