A 50-year-old female patient received pneumococcal 20-val conj vac (dipht CRM197 protein) (PREVNAR 20), on 14Oct2025 as dose number unknown, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 50 years for immunisation; COVID-19 vaccine (COVID-19 VACCINE), on 05Oct2025 as dose number unknown, single for covid-19 immunisation; influenza vaccine (FLU VACCINE VII), on 05Oct2025 as dose number unknown, single for immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. Additional information: Caller was a consumer calling to report an adverse event for her and her son. Stated that she was reporting on the Prevnar 20 vaccine for herself and was reporting on the medication Inflectra infusion for her son. This report is for the caller that received Prevnar 20. She has had a lot of testing to see what is going on, but has not been able to find an answer. She wants to know if any similar things have been reported. She saw a bump on her leg that was painful. Stated that she noticed it when she was going down the stairs and it was very painful when the back of the stair touched her leg. They monitored it for a few days and thought it was a blood clot and she had a ultrasound because it was red and swollen. She could feel the heat in the area and it was very painful. The swelling also spread to the front of her leg in the shin area. This was on her left leg. Stated that this occurred within 24 hours of receiving the Prevnar 20 vaccine. She noticed it the next day. Stated that it was on the weekend and she had the ultrasound on either a Monday or a Friday, but she does not remember the exact day. After that, the was ultrasound was negative and she started seeing lumps around her wrist and she was not able to to make a fist, and stated that her finger joints had swelling. She also had tingling, numbness, and pain, along with zapping in her fingers that felt like electrical zapping through her palm and into her fingers. There were different forms of lumps in her wrist, some were soft and some were hard, and some of them felt like granules, and they varied in size. This is the problem she has currently. She went to the doctors and saw a rheumatologist, a neurologist, a orthopedist, a dermatologist, a cardiologist, her primary care, and a infectious disease doctor and none of them can figure out what is going on. She can not carry anything, she could not close her hand, and could not brush her teeth. She had difficulty getting dressed and grabbing her steering wheel and stated that she went from a normally functioning human being to like a completely disabled person. She could not cook and could not feed herself. She would have to use both hands to brush her teeth and could not wipe herself. She was put on some steroids that did not help. The doctor gave her cortisone injections in her wrist that is helping her move, but the pain and everything is still there. A MRI of her hand showed severe swelling around her tendons, but her blood work showed no inflammation. That is where the doctors are lost. 14 days prior to receiving this Prevnar 20 vaccine she also had a flu and covid vaccine. She took the covid and flu vaccine on 05Oct2025. Stated that she got the flu and covid vaccine at pharmacy. Caller does not have the Flu and covid vaccine details to provide at the time of the call. Manufacturer for the Flu and Covid vaccine are unknown. She received the Prevnar 20 vaccine at her doctors office and they should have the product details to provide. She said that she had joint pain prior to receiving the vaccines. Stated that it was in the summer prior to receiving the vaccines. Stated that whatever pain that was though is gone now, clarified that it was in her elbow. Stated that she even got tested for Lyme disease because she lives in redacted.
