Symptom narrative

Patient came home from work, 3/7/26, complaining of being itchy all over. She noted that she had some blotchy areas of rash on her chest and her leg, but the lesions were not raised. She denies new soaps, detergents, foods, exposures at work. There is an area of redness around the injection site that initially was the size of a quarter which increased in size, but it is not a deep red, per mom, and not any warmer than what she would expect after an injection. Chlorpheniramine malate was taken with onset of symptoms. Recommended trial of zyrtec or benadryl was made. Pt is taking zyrtec. As of this morning, 3/11/26, itchiness has decreased in intensity, injection site is no longer red, but a "small bump", non-tender, remains. Pt continues to take daily zyrtec. Mother unsure if the Sx are related to the vaccination.
