Symptom narrative

Patient received flu vaccine at physical exam on 1/28/26 in her right deltoid. Patient reports pain upon injection and reported soreness at injection site within a few hours of injection. Soreness has continued since (6 weeks later), not responding/improving with ice/NSAIDs, Patient reports limited ROM with significant functional impairment in her day to day with moderate restriction to movement. Patient cannot cross her arms in front of her without discomfort, slight pain with abduction. Increased pain when removing clothing over her head and she is unable to sleep on her right side as laying on her right arm is too painful.
