Symptom narrative

had COVID maybe 4 to 6 months ago; had COVID maybe 4 to 6 months ago; pains/aches; occasional cough; sore throat; This is a spontaneous report received from an Other HCP and a Consumer or other non HCP. Other Case identifier(s): MOD-2026-794082 (MODERNA), US-MO-MOC20260227000003 (MODERNA), US-MODERNATX-MOC20260227000003 (MODERNA). A patient (age and gender not provided) received BNT162b2 omicron (kp.2) (COMIRNATY (2024-2025 FORMULA)), as dose 3 (booster), single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation; BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), in Oct2022 as dose 2, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation; BNT162b2, BNT162b2 omi ba.4-5 (BNT162B2, BNT162B2 OMI BA.4-5), in Apr2022 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant), COVID-19 (medically significant) all with onset 03Sep2025, outcome "recovered" and all described as "had COVID maybe 4 to 6 months ago"; PAIN (non-serious), outcome "recovered", described as "pains/aches"; COUGH (non-serious), outcome "recovered", described as "occasional cough"; OROPHARYNGEAL PAIN (non-serious), outcome "recovered", described as "sore throat". The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: SARS-CoV-2 test positive: (03Sep2025) positive. Clinical course: The patient stated that he had COVID-19 approximately four to six months ago and was planning to travel. He wanted to know if there would be any harm in receiving another COVID-19 vaccine. He had previously received Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines and reported having had COVID-19 about five months prior. When asked if he knew the lot numbers of the vaccines he received, he responded that the vaccine from Apr2022 had a grey cap, and the one from Oct2022 was labeled bivalent 12+ grey. He tested positive for COVID-19 on 03Sep2025. At the time of the positive test, he did not have a fever but experienced a very sore throat, body aches and pains, and an occasional cough. The symptoms lasted for about a week, and he confirmed that he had completely recovered.
