Symptom narrative

Rash to forehead was noted 1 hour post vaccination but was assumed to be due to being upset/crying. He was put down for a nap and woke up with more redness to forehead, scalp, and underneath his eyes across the bridge of his nose with slight puffiness underneath the eyes as well. He was brought in about 3 hours post vaccine to the office to be re-evaluated, was given 4 mL of benadryl. He was noted to have a slightly protruding tongue concerning for tongue swelling. No respiratory distress and very happy/playful. He was sent to ER for further monitoring.
