wheezing; coughing; bronchial symptoms-difficulty breathing; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of wheezing in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included allergy. On 18-FEB-2026, the patient received Shingrix. On 19-FEB-2026, 1 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced wheezing (Verbatim: wheezing), cough (Verbatim: coughing) and difficulty breathing (Verbatim: bronchial symptoms-difficulty breathing). The patient was treated with salbutamol sulfate (Albuterol). The outcome of the wheezing and cough were not resolved and the outcome of the difficulty breathing was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the wheezing, cough and difficulty breathing to be related to Shingrix. Since 19-FEB, early in the morning patient had bronchial symptoms-difficulty breathing, coughing and wheezing. The patient had been provided a prescription for albuteral, and it helped somewhat however the patient was still coughing and wheezing. The patient did not think that he/she had an allergic reaction. The patient had a couple of allergies. But didn't think that this was an allergic reaction. It was very different. It was just a gradual development of some wheezing, and it hadn't gone away yet. The patient had no other symptoms except coughing and wheezing. So, if it was an allergic reaction, it was a very minor one. It didn't stop the patient from breathing. It just made it difficult to do any exertion, and the patient was coughing and wheezing. The batch number was not provided and a request for this information has been made.
