A patient (age and gender not provided) received BNT162b2 omi xbb.1.5 (COMIRNATY (2023-2024 FORMULA)), in 2023 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) intramuscular for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: BURNING SENSATION (hospitalization) with onset 2023, outcome "not recovered", described as "burning"; NEUROPATHY PERIPHERAL (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2023, outcome "not recovered", described as "immediately developed neuropathy"; IMMUNE SYSTEM DISORDER (medically significant) with onset 2023, outcome "unknown", described as "some damage by the vaccine to the immune system"; PARAESTHESIA (hospitalization) with onset 2023, outcome "not recovered", described as "tingling". The events "immediately developed neuropathy" and "some damage by the vaccine to the immune system" required physician office visit. Clinical course: Pfizer mRNA vaccine. The reporter causality was not reported. Reporter stated that at the beginning of the COVID epidemic which might had been the year 2023, (redacted) took the Pfizer mRNA vaccine and immediately developed neuropathy and had been going to different doctors. Went to (redacted) and a neurologist said there was some damage by the vaccine to the immune system. Reporter added there was something the brain releases and noted the following symptoms of (redacted) neuropathy: burning and tingling.
