Symptom narrative

(1) Child had a hard knot and swelling that extended appox. 6in across top of thigh. Child was incapable of walking or sitting without screaming and crying in pain. Child would wake from sleep screaming in pain. Child is still experiencing these symptoms currently. Told to apply ice compresses, ibuprofen every 6 hours, and Cephalexin in case of chance of infection. (2) Child had eyes that became red and discharged. It would disappear and reappear. Child is still experiencing these symptoms. Diagnosed as Allergic Conjuctivitis. Told to provide ibuprofen as needed, 1 drop of carboxymethylcellulose lubricant eye drops two times per day as needed, cetirizine 1 time per day as needed, and erythromycin in both eyes four times a day for 5 days.
