Symptom narrative

24 hours after shot she had a headache. Fever over 101 started that night (around 9pm) and lasted for 3 days, accompanied by fatigue, headache, body aches, eye pain, leg pain). Fever would slowly recede with Tylenol or Motrin, but return as soon as meds wore off. After 3 days of fever, she was itchy and had a red spotty rash over most of her body, but activity returned to normal. This almost mirrored the exact reaction she had after the first dose at one year old with the exception tha the reaction started one week after the shot. We called the doctor office and we?re instructed to alternate Tylenol and Motrin for fever and go to the ER if fever lasted over 72 hours.
