Symptom narrative

likely loss of consciousness; Extreme dizziness; falling; hitting head; This serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of loss of consciousness in a 72-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (batch number G2HA7) for prophylaxis. Additional patient notes included no relevant medical history. On 26-FEB-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix .5 ml. On 27-FEB-2026, 1 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced loss of consciousness (Verbatim: likely loss of consciousness) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), dizziness (Verbatim: Extreme dizziness), fall (Verbatim: falling) and head injury (Verbatim: hitting head). The outcome of the loss of consciousness, dizziness, fall and head injury were resolving. It was unknown if the reporter considered the loss of consciousness, dizziness, fall and head injury to be related to Shingrix. The company considered the loss of consciousness to be unrelated to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the dizziness, fall and head injury to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 08-MAR-2026 The patient had never before experienced a vaccine side effect.; Sender's Comments: A case of Loss of consciousness, 1 day after vaccination with 2nd dose of Shingrix, in a 72-year-old female patient. Based on the available information a possible causality that the event was caused by GSK vaccine product cannot be ascertained. Consent for further follow up has not been received
