shoulder surgery; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of shoulder operation in a adult patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced shoulder operation (Verbatim: shoulder surgery) (serious criteria clinically significant/intervention required). The outcome of the shoulder operation was unknown. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shoulder operation to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the shoulder operation to be unrelated to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 03-MAR-2026 The reporter stated that they had hesitated because my neighbor got the shot and ended up having shoulder surgery due to a reaction to the shot. The batch number was not provided and unable to contact the reporter; Sender's Comments: A case of Shoulder operation, unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, in a adult patient. Based on the available information, a possible causality that the event was caused by the GSK product cannot be ascertained. Consent for further follow up has not been received.
