Symptom narrative

Patient received a TDAP vaccine to L arm on 3/10/26. She states that later that evening she started feeling a burning sensation to affected area. Then the next day 3/11/26 she had developed a hot red purple area extending towards her elbow. Patient decided to wait a few days to see if it would get better. It did not and the redness continued to spread, along with extreme pain. She then came into urgent care on 3/15/26 at 5:10pm.

Type 2 Diabetes, PTSD, MDD, tachycardia, heart murmur

Other medications

adderall, ozempic, lexapro, trazadone, propranolol, and atorvastatin.

Lab data

Patient was diagnosed with L arm cellulitis at point of injection. We performed an aerobic and anaerobic cx at time of visit and are still awaiting lab results.
