Symptom narrative

Immunization administered 4 days after expiration date of vaccine. No adverse reactions were noted, followed up with parents via phone hours after immunization administration. Parents stated patient was doing will with no symptoms. Per doctor's verbal recommendation regarding situation There are 2 options regarding what to do moving forward. 1 would be re dosing as soon as same day due to the vaccine being an inactive vaccine. 2nd option would be doing a blood Titer to check immunity at the next visit with a minimum of 4 weeks in between administration of vaccine and lab draw. Mother stated she understood, she was not upset. Mother stated she is leaning more towards the lab draw rather than re-dosing the vaccine.
