Symptom narrative

Patient was Hep B non-immune during pregnancy and failed to seroconvert even after multiple Hep B vaccinations. Patient elected to receive the vaccine again postpartum. Patient was accidentally given the adolescent dosage of 0.5mL/5mcg dosage instead of the adult 1mL/40mcg dose. Patient tolerated vaccine without incident. She was informed of error and was offered titers. Patient is now showing immunity to Hep B.
