Symptom narrative

2 days after receiving the vaccine in my left shoulder, I started having pain in my right arm and neck. Two days later (4 days after receiving the vaccine) I developed a rash on my right arm and neck. Five days after receiving the vaccine rash was diagnosed and treated as Shingles (Valtrex + Prednisone). The AE I am reporting is that the Shingrix vaccine triggered a Shingles episode. The Shingles outbreak mostly resolved within 3 weeks. I have photos available of the progression of the Shingles rash from when it first emerged on 2/10/2026 until it started to improve about a week later. Pain and rash gradually improved over ~3 weeks.
